Tattoo inspiration
How do you choose the right tattoo artist?
When you get the idea for a tattoo, whether it’s the first or the 30th, most people will usually open Google and search for the motif they have in mind.
What then happens is that you “should” search for the style your tattoo is to be done in and then whether there is anyone in your area who is skilled in that particular style.
Unfortunately, it often happens that when people get their first tattoo, they just choose the first and the best, because they don’t really have a proper overview of what to look for.
Again, this is something I would like to help with so that you don’t end up with a permanent tattoo that you are not satisfied with.
- Choose your motif and idea.
- Search for motif+tattoo on Google.
- Find the style that suits you best (think a little ahead, maybe it needs to be built on sometime)
- Search for tattoo artists in your area (possibly this page) and check out their pictures and look for your chosen style.
- Check their Instagram, Facebook, and Website and look for bad reviews so you’ve made sure the place is okay and you feel safe.
- Last but not least, contact the shop and have a chat with the tattooist you have decided on.
